13th Annual Lakeview Garden Walk

The Garden Walk is a wonderful annual tradition in the Lakeview Community sponsored by the Central Lake View Merchants Association and the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce, and local resident's organizations.

Each July, Lakeview is transformed into a paradise of flowers for the general public to come and enjoy. Hundreds of gardeners have participated in the event, opening their yards and gardens to pedestrian visitors on this beautiful walking tour.

It's quite easy to get involved in the Lakeview Garden Walk! You just have to have an area garden you'd like to share with visitors for an afternoon, and... well, that's all there is to it! It's a fun way to spend a Sunday in July and a great way to meet others in your community interested in gardening.

The Lakeview Garden Walk is an annual event now in its 13th year, and
it's just getting better! The Walk has grown to nearly one hundred gardens in recent years. We're growing geographically as well, as every year the walking map expands to include more gardens in all areas of Lakeview.

It's a wonderful family friendly event with beautiful gardens and friendly neighbors welcoming you into their relaxing greenspace. With the help of our volunteers and sponsors we hope 2008 will be the biggest and best Lakeview Garden Walk yet!
